Biography

Rebecca Emerson, soprano, received the Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2024. While at Palm Beach Atlantic she studied under Metropolitan Opera soprano, Marilyn Mims. Some of Rebecca’s notable roles at PBA include Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro and Don Elvira in Don Giovanni.  She is currently pursuing the Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Alabama under soprano Susan Williams.  With the UA Opera Theatre, the Arizona native has been seen as Maguelonne in Viardot’s Cinderella and The Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel.  She has also performed as a soloist in Palm Beach Atlantic’s performance of Seven Last Words (Trotta), and Missa Florida (Vwjvanovsky).
